Overview: To Appoint a Lord was a game made by me and my husband in 7 days for our self-appointed game jam, with "appoint" as the theme. This game was inspired heavily by Sort the Court. I programmed the dialogue, the player level, and the choices the player can make (and their results), and I wrote the "requests" the NPCs would ask of the player.

Postmortem: This game taught me much about coroutines, for coroutines were what I needed to control the passage of time and the flow of responses. I struggled a lot initially with them, my errors oftentimes leading to events happening concurrently, but gained a handle on the concept over the week we made this game. This was a different sort of game than I would usually make or play, and I appreciated the challenge.
